The Shepherd's Hut at Knockbain offers quirky bed-and-breakfast accommodation. The traditional style hut is situated in the garden of the main farmhouse on a busy working farm on the outskirts of Dingwall, Ross-shire. With stunning views, the hut is a superb base for a Highland holiday.
The hut is a traditional style shepherd’s hut situated at the bottom of our garden, beside the pond and in amongst the wild flowers. The hut has a sturdy steel frame and heavy duty traditional cast wheels. It is well-insulated and has an efficient little wood stove for chillier evenings. At 12 foot long and 7 foot wide the hut is compact but well organised to make the most of the available space!
The Shepherd's Hut is the perfect romantic hideaway but we are also especially well located for those on their way to or from the west coast, the Land's End to John o' Groats cycle route and the newly established North Coast 500

We had access to a brand new and modern bathroom in the house and had a lot of privacy. The breakfast was amazing as well. Light the fire and enjoy this special moment in the hut. Amazing experience.
