Knockbain House, set in a lovely rural setting in the Scottish Highlands, one mile from Dingwall, the county town of Ross & Cromarty. We offer an ideal base for tourist or business visitors.
David and Denise Lockett have been at Knockbain since 1973. The house is on our working mixed farm and offers fine views of the Cromarty Firth and Black Isle. It was completely rebuilt and extended in 2008 allowing us to give our guests a separate bedroom wing and warm and comfortable welcome.
We have 2 acres of landscaped garden for your enjoyment and relaxation. Or pull on a pair of walking boots and take a walk around the farm.
We are perfectly positioned for exploring the North and West Highlands; travelling to Skye, by ferry to the Hebrides and Orkney, and within easy reach of Inverness for air, road and rail links.

This is a really good bed and breakfast in a beautiful setting. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and we also could have relaxed in the living room had we wanted to . Breakfast was very good indeed and Denise and David were excellent and friendly hosts .
